My advice is to spend some time exploring first. Read other peoples post, especially those directed at helping new people understand the platform.
Read what people are posting in your area of interest.
Comment on peoples posts in a genuine fashion.
If you behave in an authentic manner, then people will respond to your honesty.
As you vote for others your Steem will increase. As others vote for you, your Steem will increase.
It is clear that your reputation has already taken a hit from some poorly chosen topics. Bring value to the platform by way of your honest expression of self. When you add value to the community, you will be rewarded for your efforts.
