Camporí (With the conquistadors) Part I

What is CAMPORÍ?

The Camporee is an event held from time to time by the Pathfinder Club of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The Camporee is held in an open space to carry out different activities such as: Lectures, Special Numbers, Smooth Band Competition, Closed Order Competition, Bible Challenges, Physical Challenges, Specialties, Promotions, Awards and Recognitions, and Evangelistic Activities, among others.

Closed order is a march similar to what martial forces do. This activity allows discipline, physical activity and ability, teamwork and learning to execute orders given by a leader, among other things. In the Pathfinder Club, this is practiced at Club meetings and closed order competitions are held at the Camporee.

The camporee is a highly anticipated event for Pathfinders, in many ways they prepare for it for a long time. The camporee is a special time to socialize, make friends, grow spiritually, learn new skills and do evangelistic activities together. It is usually more than two days where Pathfinders (boys and girls from 10 to 15 years old) live together in the middle of all the activities.
