$420 a Day for YouTube Ads Promoting Steem Equals?
- 15,000+ viewers a day interested in cryptocurrencies spending 33 minutes each learning about Steem while on YouTube in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. Campaign budget for this is $300 a day with an average cost of $0.02 per view with an average watch time per viewer of 33 minutes. 25% of users seeing the ads skip it which does not cost anything. Ads show on videos with bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and hundreds of other niche keywords like eos, eth, etc. The video for this ad is the "#1 All In Altcoin" video below which has proven the most effective in keeping users watching the longest.
- 50,000+ ad impressions on Google display network websites resulting in thousands of clicks every day worldwide to steemit.com from authors featured Steem's the top 25 posts and on posts on my blog including resteems. Cost: $45 a day.
- 5,000 - 10,000 views a day on several more promoting Steem including a video from @joeparys, a video by @tomasgeorge, and a few of mine. These are "remarketing" ads targeted to viewers already having watched one of my videos which have proven extremely effective for conversion across all types of digital marketing and online advertising including many of my own campaigns.

Strategy Summary!
The idea is to first get new viewers already interested in cryptocurrencies to learn more about Steem using the video proven most effective at maintaining viewer attention for the maximum time. After making the first impression, we then build a deeper relationship with viewers having already watched any video on my YouTube channel by explaining Steem in several different ways including with videos and posts by other authors. This gives us the greatest chance to drive new sign ups and keep those interested in Steem coming back.

The average watch time in the USA on a YouTube ad for this video is 33:41. That means for every person that spends a minute watching someone else watches more than an hour. Out of all the videos I have tested, this one is by far the best according to how long viewers watch which is why it also is getting the majority of the budget and making first impressions.

Hi Jerry, it's hard to follow what you're saying in this video after you start playing an ad simultaneously in the background. You're effectively talking over yourself (from the perspective of a viewer). Perhaps the ad could be muted (I don't know if it's too late to do that now)?

What would need to be done to inject some anti-censorship/surveillance language to attract refugees from Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube? I'm thinking that number is massive.

This is Crazy .... I guess I will spend $$$ on Youtube Ads and forget about Facebook and Google Adwords. Very good information. I think that your Youtube Ads are causing a nice bump in the price of Steem and Steem Dollars today.
Maybe we could simplify it even more for people and explain that there is no cost to join AND you get paid for doing what you are already doing.
Any time I meet someone who is a writer or into social media I explain to them that Steemit is a great new platform that will pay you for your content. I have gotten over a dozen people to sign up although only a few have been consistent about posting.
All of them have made money however and probably don't understand the future value of STEEM. This has the potential to be a several hundred dollar coin one day.
Agreed. There is a lot of potential with Steemit. I wonder what improvements will come out in the future to assist with cross promoting with multiple social media platforms. There is a lot of room to grow

Maybe a video comparing steemit to reddit? I have been a member of reddit for 3 years and i have posted probably ten times during those years. I have been on steemit for a week and i feel like i am part of something that will change the way users communitcate on the internet...there are so many benefits to steemit including earning money, but also the welcoming community. You might be able to pull some redditors over! Thanks for all that you do for steemit.
