RE: Steemit Update [Sep 15th, 2022]: Community Curators for October - Applications Open
Interesting. If you wouldn't mind, kindly tell, what topics do you think should replace diaries?

bro, try to open your eyes. See when you sign up for reddit or medium, they suggest you pick a topic you like. and later your front page will be filled with content like that. and steemit doesn't have that. yes very easy. diaries are people who just write them and there is no benefit because they think it's easy to get money on this platform. just writing a diary is enough. whether a diary is informative, in fact it is not.
Okay. But have you wondered what steemit is and how it works?
I've been writing steemit since 2017, and this is my new account after I've been away from this platform for a long time.
Now I ask you again, why is steemit called the web3 platform, explain the reason. I want to see the knowladge of a large level account but the contents of the post are all trashed.
The explanation is quite lengthy but in a few words,
You can't hold anyone responsible for posts quality on steemit as a platform. Steemit was designed to be decentralized, that means those algorithms in reddit and medium won't be applicable here.
Also, posts are ranked on the platform generally not by users' interest but by perceived quality. The quality is determined by the quality of votes gotten by the posts.
Steemit team only invested their resources and tried to carve out an engaging space on this platform, but there's a whole world outside @steemitblog here on steemit. Everyone is free to create their own space and do whatever they want that's the decentralization we talk about.
So to improve post quality you can carve out a space on this platform that emphasizes on high quality posts. Of course, to get traffic, you'll have to impress users with rewards.
While you point is valid, you obviously cannot tell steemit team how to use their resources.
Dunno if you get what I'm ranting about?
Your argument doesn't seem to want to develop. You didn't see 5-4 years ago, when you do a google search for the information you are looking for, one of them will appear steemit, this is the same as Quora. I see less attention from sub topic specific things. examples such as steemit woman. the topic that should be raised is everything related to women, not just a diary that is not clear. people write diaries all because the steemit posts are all dregs. try for example in steemit woman. The criteria for writing that can be published are: opinions about beauty, fashion, food, and specific things from women. and for example there is a beauty topic, which is discussed specifically about beauty, how to treat wounds on the face, how to clean blackheads, good cheap make-up, and much that can be explored. How can I be impressed by reading it when I see the same post and it's not informative, educative and interactive at all.
Okay.
If you want to see something specific and informative, take a look at my posts, what I show and what my writing targets are. what i did on steemit is very specific as it is on the platform i mentioned.
and there is so very little content here, and it doesn't get much attention.
