Hi and sorry for answering so late. Well at least we do hope that it is going to be interesting to play, in the end we just want to enrich the community by giving them something extra and worthwhile.
In general, the game is modular and also adaptable to be used outside steemit, but we are basing this currently on the steemit blockchain because we believe this to be a very good idea.
Having an MMORPG on Steemit where you are able to earn a few dollars through the blockchain sounds for me like a real new idea, almost a game changer :)
