Vision for Steem: Become the no. 1 social blockchain and no. 1 host of decentralized communities in the world.

You are so right @surfermarly. This is exactly the reason why we decided to build ImpactN on Steem. We need a decentralised community to reach the Global Goals until 2030. A truly SOCIAL network is the way to go, because wicked problems (e.g. climate change) may only be tackled through distributed action and learning, supported by an infrastructure enabling co-creation and co-llaboration.

Having said this, the way to reach the vision should be social and decentralised itself. The SOS-forums set up by @pennsif could be the place for a kick-off for such a strategy - in collaboration of Steem community and Steemit Inc. The forums start Thursday Dec 13th at 08.00 PM UTC.
