Steem is more like a socialist model, printing money to support minnows and corrupt whales. If only such behaviours were less profitable... It can be done by tweaking the reward curve.

For sure, it is an algorithmic socialism (the best kind of it), not a dictatorship.
Blockchain has a huge potencial to eliminate corruption from socialism. Things like Universal Basic Income could be laid out in more fairer ways.
