It's not over until it's over, don't let up!
I was a bit hesitant to beat a dead horse, so let's just say this post isn't really in regards to any specific event that we have two days to keep a certain something in the number one spot of.
But let's just say, when competing, I think it's so important to not let up, and push through 200% until the end. Getting into that #1 spot feels so gratifying in and of itself, but the race is far from over, and it can also be the exact feeling that seals a loss. Overconfidence is brutal.
I can't help but think back to the 2016 election here in the US, when Hillary Clinton was already doing her victory laps days before the election. Articles were already pre-written, outlining her accolades as the first female president of the United States. 'How could he ever win', they said. It's impossible. Two years later, oh how I wish they were right. And here we are, but I digress.
Having something 'in the bag' ironically, can make it very much.... not... so. Inversely, the participants who just dropped to the #2 and 3 spots will be that much more motivated to start pushing back with a vengeance.
I think it's horribly important to stay humble, and SECURE your victories. I totally mean in life in general, this has nothing to do with crypto or Net- cough, what?
