RE: Witness voting - difficult times ask for difficult decisions and that quickly
I changed mine this morning too. I was disappointed @timcliff was offline :(

Hi @golddeck
I shut my witness down at the time Tron took over the chain, as my view at the time was that it was not right to continue producing blocks on a chain that was 100% centrally controlled. My view at the time was that the only path forward was to create a new fork of Steem where everyone could continue on without Tron, and leave them behind with the blockchain that they controlled. With the new push for the witnesses to regain control of the current chain, I have re-enabled my witness. I don't yet know where all of this will lead, but I am back to active on the current chain for the time being.
Awesome! I will go vote you. I respected your decision on 2.22
Thanks!
Good job, @golddeck!
Yeah, some important witnesses disabled their servers.
But like I said in my post one should perhaps even vote for witnesses you would not vote for normally just to get steemian witnesses back into control.
So vote on the ones close to entering the top 20 and the ones that are in already if they run a code below 0.22.5.
Hi @pundito,

Thanks for explaining - I fully understand.
Good to hear you're online again!
