[ENG/ITA] Keeping lit the Torch of trust

So... my friend @armandosodano sent me a lot of Steem and asked me if I could keep the Steem Torch. This is obviously a honour; I read some posts about this wonderful initiative by @geekgirl, a challenge to a community of worldwide users that know each other mostly by their nickname. In the epoch of Internet it's so difficult to see real faces behind the monitors and so hard to find someone to trust.

...Can we find someone to trust on Steem?

That made me think about one of my first posts on this platform: it was 2 years ago. It talked about kindness, about a bunch of people that helped each other without asking for anything. A community that rewards the best and encourage constantly other users to improve.

That's why I always liked the Steemians.

That's why in my two years on the platform I found a lot of people that I believe can be trusted to pass this Torch. Our italian community is full of real and nice people behind the monitors and the one that I choose for this task is my dear @acquarius30.

Steem on and keep passing the bright light of trust ;)

Così il mio amico @armandosodano mi ha inviato un bel po' di Steem, chiedendomi se avevo voglia di tenere la Steem Torch. Per me è stato un'onore: avevo letto alcuni post su questa meravigliosa iniziativa di @geekgirl, una sfida nei confronti di una comunità mondiale di utenti che si conoscono praticamente solo per il loro nickname. Nell'era di internet è così difficile vedere dei volti veri dietro i monitor e così complicato trovare qualcuno degno di fiducia.

...ma possiamo trovare qualcuno di cui fidarci su Steem?

Questa iniziativa mi fa pensare ad uno dei primi post che scrissi su questa piattaforma, ormai due anni fa. Parlava di gentilezza, di un gruppo di persone capaci di aiutarsi l'un l'altro senza chiedere nulla in cambio. Una comunità capace di ricompensare i migliori ed incoraggiare costantemente chi poteva fare di meglio.

E' questo che ho sempre adorato degli Steemians.

Ed è per questo che nei due anni passati sulla piattaforma ho conosciuto tante persone di cui, a mio giudizio, ci si possa fidare nel passaggio della Steem Torch. La nostra comunità italiana è piena di persone vere e buone dietro i monitor, e per questa iniziativa ho scelto la carissima @acquarius30.

Steem on e continuiamo a far girare la Torcia della fiducia! ;)
