Actually when you use busy.org instead of Steemit there is such a function. But I prefer using the original. Maybe the big UX/UI update we all are urging for has such a feature. You have hit a nerve as 10 people agree with you! I am listening to Ya Tu Sabes right now. ;)

I have used busy.org once or twice but like you said I prefer the original too.
You can install a browser plugin like Pocket I think. It saves you links in an interesting way. Personally I gave up on bookmarking me anything on Steemit. Information overload. If I want something again I can still try to search for it but that rarely happens.

It's like a plugin to the browser which really improves a lot with the interface as well as adding great new features! :)
The creator @steemchiller whispered in my ear that he will soon release some new app for the community so stay tuned! :)
There will be tons of new things in a few months. Steemit is realeasing a HUGE update soon, probably ending the beta phase and starting the marketing campaign with millions of Dollars. Say goodbye to what you see now since it will not last for long anymore. ;)
