Just opening a little discussion thread to know your opinions on Communities and crossposting. Has it benefited you in any way? Are you receiving better rewards? More engagement? Or is it just a pain in the ass?

If you are getting positive results it would be nice of you to share your approach on doing so.

If you are not enjoying it please tell why.

    To be honest, this whole community thing is a bit confusing. I get the concept, but the implementation is not intuitive. I say this as a reader and as an author. Maybe it has to do with Steemit's user interface and some UX improvements are in order. As a reader, I feel that the site doesn't encourage me to explore further, the way Reddit does. And as an author, well, I just discovered that my latest post ended in the wrong community.

      Yup, it's become little engaging and people are just not interacting as much. I feel communities fragmented the Steem community and it's just not working. It was a good idea, but it didn't pull off as expected.

        Ich verstehe die Communitys so:

        Bisher hatten wir nur die #tags um eine Sortierung vorzunehmen.
        Mit den Communitys haben wir eine zusätzliche Sortierung erhalten, die uns lediglich ein weiteres Feld aufgemacht hat, um unter dem entsprechendem Community-Namen - zum Beispiel "Deutsch von A bis Z." - zu posten und die #tags weiterhin zu verwenden.
        Was damit wirklich erreicht werden soll, begreife ich nicht, da es bisher keine für mich sichtbare Änderungen gebracht hat - außer das alles unübersichtlicher geworden ist, weil man mehr in den verschiedenen Communitys suchen sollte und ich glaube, dass durch diese Neuerungen noch mehr Beiträge für die Allgemeinheit nicht sichtbar werden.
        Beiträge sollen aber von allen gesehen werden, oder?

          Exactly, I think the same... I liked it more when we saw everybody's posts and we were one big community with all the diversity that implies.
