Will this be my last (old) Steem post?
For the last two years I've been active on the Steem blockchain. Looking back, I had a lot of fun writing posts and interacting with so many new people I wouldn't have met in the real life.
I also invested a bit of my money in Steem, first to make sure I could earn some Steem by curating and later because I believed in the project and all the programs that run on it, such as @steembasicincome, @upvoteshares and @steem-ua.
The last couple of weeks have been quite intense. The takeover by Mr Sun/Tron turned didn't turn out what we all hoped it to be. To be honest, I also found the period before the takeover - mostly after HF22 - hard. The post (author) payouts went down and more and more people people left the platform, which led to even less interaction. I have to say that the motivation to write good quality posts really went down for me because of all of this.
It's not just negative energy though. It is great to see that the community stood up. First to vote for the community witnesses and now with the creation of Hive. Seeing this, it gives me new motivation to become more active again and write posts that, hopefully, get the attention and appreciation (I think) it deserves.
Will You sell Your old steem?
I haven't made up my mind. Most of it is "stuck" in delegations and SP still, so at least it will be a mid term thing before I sold all of it. How about you? Do you plan to sell it (and maybe buy more Hive)?
