I went broke when my crypto was delisted from the exchange. The developers never spoke of it again as if it never had experienced life at all

This is why I do not like keeping my cryptos in exchanges. You could wake up one morning to hear that the crypto has been suspended and you cannot move it again. Binnace has made me experience this pain lately but I thank God I did not buy much of that crypto that was suspended.
I prefer to store them in steem here on steemit on exclusive accounts but the price of steem dips everyday and it is not giving me any assurances.
At least most your cryptos steem assure you that you own them but you will have to face the dip
