SBD Pump Slowing Down?
As you can see from the daily chart above, the volume in SBD trading has dropped significantly. Price also dropped to $10.69 from above $12.
On the internal market, 1 SBD is giving you 5.85 STEEM, at the moment of writing.

I wonder why you still used them in light of what happened this June?!
When the SBD price goes down to 2$ they will finally have the time to give you your SBDs, after having "not touched" them for the duration of the price spike.
Not the worst case.
Any exchange could accidentally have all your funds lost to a "hacker attack".
Oh like not so nicehash? ya they got me too this week. Double whammy! Everything I touch that's centralized is laying a beating on me lol

The whole poloniex from earlier this year, June, should have raised signal alarms to steemers. We need to learn from past mistakes and start relying on better exchangers.
Stop using Poloniex. Please!
It had to. It couldnt stay the way it was. While it was a great chance to power up your account having sbd at 12 made no sense.

the price does seem to be reasonably stable though. I'm wondering if it was just left alone to do its thing, what level it would find.
Maybe bringing the price down wold work against adoption? Especially right now when most cryptos are hot.
I think it's a good thing to leave it alone for a while. Adoption is happening anyway :)
According to several people out on steem it is a small drop before the next rise.

I think it's just a correction. I heard some things about sbd and steem recently and i expect some correction before taking up again to even higher levels. I hope i'm right :)

I don't know if i'm allowed. But it's just a rumor. Remember the steemfest before sbd pump? Where whales gathered together. I think they have some genius plan to make steem worth more. Because it's easyer to pump sbd. And so a lot of sbd owners converting in steem.
I heard rumors that it had something to do with a Asian Exchange listing Steem & SBD on their exchange.

It seems like a good rumor to me. Remember bernie encouraging posts for Thanksgiving weekend? I think that was to keep us active when usually all social media dies. Plan for a working Christmas for sure with all this excitement. Do I care if my $1 sbd is $10 or $11 usd? OMG people - I need to publish another post.
I live in Bangkok and my rent and bills are $300 a month. I am in utter shock and awe right now about how 6 months of hard work is starting to pay off. I was seriously considering dropping out in October, but a few things made me decide to keep trying until January and then re-visit. Now - all bets are off.

Steemit is part of my work and growing bigger. I've been pushing my natural weight loss message since 2010. I have books, affiliate links, coaching and joined steemit in June for the purpose of spreading the word more about what I do. I wanted to use the great alexa ranking to promote my message.
But soon steemit took over my social media time. I get a lot of traffic to my sites now from links I post to steemit and my books sales are up - but this is over the top. I live cheap for a reason! This price rise is a game changer for me.
It had to stop someday, but I hoped it would last a little longer
