My first post in #steem after the fork
Hello everyone. This is @davidke20 back to #steem #blockchain. As we can see, nothing much left here. I'm going to share with you some of my early experience in #steem after the fork, hopefully it will help you to navigate through this tough time. Take note that, I'm not anywhere near to siding who. I'm more of having an interest to find out how people react to this kind of forking situation. I myself are equally excited as one of my account got excluded from the airdrop which initially I became very angry, but yeah I bite the bullet. It's my responsibilities, that I allowed my witness vote decided by others. Let's put that crap behind. I will continue to blog about #steem in #steem, and contribute to the fork with whatever blessed by them over the other side.
For those who want an exit
Steem price has since fallen from $0.38 in Thursday and currently at $0.19. I'm reporting this on Saturday 21/3/2020 11:09am GMT+8. That's like half the "value" gone. We will come back to the analysis again later on this. But now, let's have a look at the overall situation.

If you haven't power down, better do so. I'm foreseeing in the coming 4 to 5 weeks time, #steem price possibly plunge further as the current stake holder is powering down and will start purging their crypto for the new token they're have over there. Mark my word, the first batch is happening in Tuesday as I found out few of the big shots is having their weekly payout on that same day. Unless #hive remain off exchange, otherwise the purge of #steem WILL happen. So, those who choose to exit, be extremely careful and observe the powerdown period.
Meanwhile, @misterdelegation has collected back all it's vests right after the fork. Coincidence of why the fork happened an hour before the delegation vest returned? I wrote about this 5 days ago. The fork has to happened or losing #steem value before the "migration".
Those who stay back
Me? No I'm half staying back for a few reasons. One, #steem being my first blog on a blockchain, be it centralized or decentralized, I will maintain one blog here. As for my the other self, it will fork and become another me on the other side with same face but could have a different future. I'm also wanting to see how far #steem can go under the governance of @justinsunsteemit and the Korean community. And last but not least, there are a few members of #steem I promised to support here in #steem #blockchain, with 2 of my initiatives #hasil2020 and #fitness2020. I'm a man of my word, I will try to sustain the payout until end of the year, to complete the 2020 with #steem #blockchain. That's enough about me, let's talk about you. It's going to be tough, no whale around. Even if there is, they're probably powering down and leaving #steem for the better part of that side. If they're smart enough, they will continue upvoting in steem to do more "damage" to the chain, and "benefit" to those who continue here. That should last for another 4 or 5 weeks before we see significant dropped of voting weight. On the bright side, without the big shots raping the reward pool, there's a chance that the payout will increase. You won't see much community policing anymore, and downvote is virtually useless right now. So, before the spammer set in, its your chance to make use of this opportunity to hoard a huge amount of #steem(I didn't say how the value will diminish against fiat currency over time). On a side note, please also revoke your authority for those dApps that is no longer in #steem. Although I believe they will not do any harm, but it's better safe than sorry.

More reading can be done here by @futureshock. I'm not too sure who is who right now, because it seems like a part of the previous community choose to remain in both chains, but some of the games are stuck in #steem and therefore they are likely able to port over the #hive chain for the time being. Everything is unclear, but 1 thing for sure, a portion of your supporter is no longer here. You may wanna take this is a reboot of everything, make new #steem friends and get new support. Not forgetting, if you're using #partiko on your mobile device, be extremely careful because the SBD and STEEM you saw from there, is no longer SBD nor STEEM. The server @partiko is pointing to anyx.io, which means the post you authored in #partiko is going straight to #hive. If you're trying to withdraw #steem to your exchange via dApps, it's dangerous because you could be risking sending #hive to your #steem wallet address in your exchange, which will result in lost of crypto. Meanwhile, you can still use #partiko as your feed browser in #hive, reply and comment in #hive whilst you think it looks like #steem. Do not, I repeat do not, do not do any transactions from dApps for the time being. Come straight back to steemitwallet to be safe because you really do not know what crypto you're sending out.
Summary
It's an old chain, some of the old faces still around, but the rule has changed. It's no longer self governance for the time being. There may be changes made by the new power, but we won't know whether it's good for the community, meanwhile part of me will be continue to run my #hasil2020 and #fitness2020 here, hopefully my payout is suffice to continue pay for my fellow participants @heartbeat1515 @oneray @wakeupkitty @gertu @marbley @sacra97 @olivia08. We will continue this part of ourself in #steem #blockchain. I have originally thought of cross posting from both chains, but decided I will only do genuine posts with different identity from different chain. As for the subscription of #tipu, I will not maintain it anymkore because my post reward has shrunk, there's no way I can pay for subscription anymore. Note that I am still hosting the events which need to pay for the prizes. If everyweek someone win my 5 steems, by year end I think I will have to power down and give it back to you already.
Also, @minnowbooster @buildteam @thecryptodrive have not been answering me since 2 days ago. My leasing has been getting raped top to bottom, left right and center. People pulling out their delegations here and there after minnowbooster pay them their daily reward, and I got a refund without fully utilizing the day. Again, I understand all these are not spelt in the "smart contract", but still people can fall victim in the future. Did they change the power down to an instant power down ?
Thank you for reading @sanjeevm, I don't think the officials will allow any tom dick and harry doing instant power down. They may do it for themselves so they can exit, and may be possible few more exchange accounts to allow them to liquidate their positions. There's a reason the delegation for exchange goes down to 100SP, you wanna guess how much transaction they're trying to limit for every 5 days? Note that it takes 5 days to replenish the full RC. Now they there's a censorship going on, who knows next thing they mute this post, and next mute me? But I think I'm giving everything fair back to #steem, and I did not mention nor promote the new born chain. Merely talking about what else can we do here in #steem.

Well, put it this way, now you have 2 accounts you can choose to spam on to. So, give it a little time, adjust yourself to accommodate both. Who knows you get benefited by both chain. Keep the smiley face going. God is on our side.
Resteem the post to give support. Reading here and there that they have to remove the delegations and it will take a while to put them back. Do not lose hope. I am here and there, on more platforms but it seems as if more are down since March 22. I use Partiko to write. It's no longer possible to comment with it. As soon as my connection is bad I am gone.
It's fine with me if you do not pay. Things have changed and a part of the challenges too.
Exactly. That's the problem. It seems the only way to work with, is through #steemit. I'm working on some material trying to revive #partiko but to use it on #hive 😂 I think it's about time to focus, and pay more attention to the one with more people in it. Not that I'm saying to let die of what we already built here in #steem #blockchain.
Also note that, I'm still buying #steem despite I'm losing. I will see how can I reward my fellow participants.
