RE: Was the Launch of Steem a Scam or the Only Legal Way? - Thoughts on Steem by Charlie Shrem a Week Later
And you are leaving out things like:
- a legitimate bug that would have been difficult to quickly patch with a hardfork
- masses of users calling for a "fair" relaunch
- assumption that instructions were intentionally incorrect
Damned if you do, Damned if you don't.
May I respectfully suggest that way too much energy is being spent responding to people who do not understand the concept as defined in the White Paper.
Furthermore, the job ahead requires immense effort and concentration and as little distraction as possible.
You will never be able to please everyone. In fact, human history has shown over and over again that the most significant inventions have always been met with intense resistance and hatred initially.
Steem is no different in this regard. I am very encouraged by the amount of hostility and outright maliciousness being thrown in your direction.
Steem must be an awesome development to generate such high resistance.
I must say again that I am very very excited about the enormous possibilities that the platform has unleashed.
Steem is a very important value proposition that I believe will surpass all other current social media platforms that exist today.
Yea damned if you are called and calling yourself and expert and make "mistakes" with the most critical part of launch. but hey, just buy steem so we can dev more, thanks
