Steem & Steemit - An Introduction & ethical analysis

After 6 months active on Steemit, and having attended Steemfest, I have finally decided to take the next step and suggest to my Youtube subscribers to open a steemit account and for the first time I have disabled comments on Youtube as an incentive for people to open steemit accounts so that I can reward them for commenting and get them on the blockchain.

So glad to have found you again; this time on steemit! Although having registered over a year ago, only recently has my posting started.
You can get some of my ideas for content creation, here on steem, in my intro posting.. If you feel they are worthwhile then your offer made in the video would be most sppreciated.

Apologies but I have just started to research how to delegate steem power and its complicated and frankly don't feel like wading through it :( - best I can do is follow you and upvote your posts and comments like I have this one!
Alternatively if you can research how I can easily delegate Steem Power I will be happy to delegate some
Very good video...simple and good explanation.. I like it :) and I think it is good if you not let viewers comment on there in YouTube, this will definitely bring them here sooner or later. ( it is just what I think ) I think it's a good idea, you just have to tell it at the beginning of each video.... They can comment here and get a reward for it.

What do you mean by posting them again? Is it not possible to upvote them anymore? Thanks for reading - I'm glad you liked them (although I should be producing much more material). I'm up for the vegan group. Also, cool to see that you're based in the UK - I live in Manchestorrr.
They can be upvoted at any time but you only get rewarded for upvotes made in the first week. So if you did t get any rewards from the first time you can just repost them or edit and improve them and then post again now that you have more followers.

Great video, I thought your overview of the platform was solid and honest - not too skeptical, not too optimistic. I have some friends I'm trying to onboard, so this might end up being one of the things I show them to help them get their steem-legs, so to speak.

Can’t believe I’m talking to the great Danny Shine ! Seems almost surreal
I’m planning on doing a bit of tutoring after uni so I was think to get some practice on here and make some math and economic vids. Problem is,I doubt that very many 4-18 year olds will hold steemit accounts so there goes that plan. I’m sure I’ll think of something over the next few days.

Welcome to Steemit. You’ll have to research how it works. I can also and someone who you can pay to train you up on how to use the platform if you are interested

Thanks for introducing the concepts so eloquently. Ive only been writing on here a short while but I am beginning to work some muscles I have failed to use for so long! Proper writing, more self expression and sharing of ideas is to follow! Unlike many steemit people you have looked at the ethical angle which is admirable. It is not simply a technical website and am totally refreshed by the sidestep away from the old paradigms. Full steem ahead...
