Steem in the TOP 25 at coinmarketcap.com and one of 5 best cryptos according to Weiss Ratings
Hi everybody,
It was just 4 days ago when I was writing about how Steem was doing well, predicting it to break into the TOP 30 cryptos soon.
After being ranked one of the best 5 cryptocurrencies for investment by Weiss Ratings, a renowned independent rating agency, Steem experienced a massive growth yesterday and not only it did break into the TOP 30 at coinmarketcap.com but it actually made it into the TOP 25! (as you can see in this screenshot taken from coinmarketcap.com).
Although some other top cryptos have been in the red today, Steem has been continuing to rise and we can expect it to keep on climbing up the chart in days and weeks to come.
As for Steemit, our beloved platform, there were some promising news too. Youtube recently changed their monetization policy, which resulted in masses of youtubures with small subscribers base not getting paid for their videos any more. Many of these youtubers have already discovered D-Tube and Steemit where they can monetize their content (probably even much more effectively than on Youtube) and the word is spreading very fast on the internet.
Considering all the recent happenings, we should definitely get ready for another huge growth of Steemit and other Steem-related platforms :)

I'm sure the Weiss ratings gave Steem prices a healthy boost, but we're long overdue for a proper valuation.
Steemit is fully functional and thriving, yet somehow Steemit is valued much less than projects that have nothing but hype. It's a travesty that Steemit isn't in the Top10!
I am pretty positive that we will make it to top 10 sooner or later. I have no doubt about that. Once the mainstream adoption kicks in there will be no stopping it. Tomas

Very well said. I'm kind of excited for 2018 and how Steem and the cryptoworld will perform. Personally I'd love to see Steem getting into the Top 15 by mid-year.

Absolutely! There is no reason why it shouldn`t unless the whole crypto market catches the cold:)

Absolutely right! I am positive that sooner or later we will make ti to top 10. In all honesty I do not see it happening this year yet but with the right approach and increase promotions we could see that happening in 2019. Tomas
The promotions are gaining momentum especially the one i participate in ie #promo-steem.
The guys there are doing amazing promotions all over the world.

It really is an amazing system. I do hope Steemit takes over the other social media platforms. Steemit isn't controlled by politics and is supply and demand based on quality content. I'm telling any good creators I know about the site!
