Another one bites it.
Man can hardly say I didn't see this coming. The minute Ned started mass selling and denying the fact that he was I knew something was up. Sad that a project with so much potential gets reduced to a hopeful community project because the ones with the power mismanaged funds. Hope that a new group comes in and really makes an impact because I would hate to see this become another one for the pile of failures.
Side note: What Ned did should not be overlooked as it is basically a soft exit scam.
Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to learn more on what is taking place. I love Steemit and sad how it is disintegrating in front of us. I must be the only one on this platform who bought steem and never powered down.
Lots of people had strong beliefs in the project as it was genuinely a great idea. The issue was that the ones at the top were not apt to share the wealth and in the end couldn't be bothered to keep the charade going.
sad and agree with your analysis. Seems like they could still change the allocation of things and breath life back in this project. No one wins having this fail.
would be good if he shared equally all STEEM in possesion of INC between active users. ho cna community do stuff when communtiy has way less money than INC.. and ICN claims they have no money to run ;)

It is indeed a strange move. I cannot imagine that it has something to do with the seperation from the frontend (steemit.com) from the blockchain into a seperate company.
Still I do wonder how mcuh impact that this will have on the future. It all will depend on the progress of the SMTs!
Still I did power up today. Steem will easily be capable of climbing back to at least a $!
I look at it like this. This is the second batch of devs to close shop on this project, not a great sign overall.
Lol it was definitely an exit when he sold his steem. Blindly obvious. The good news is that his steem is back in the ecosystem.
