Today I'm going to blow the door wide open and expose @thomasgutierrez, one of the biggest scam shill monsters in the entire crypto community.
So check this shit out. I'm just now getting back into steem and out of the blue, This guy hits me up and I quote, "Ya Dawg! Remember me? Let me refresh your broke ass memory, I'm shill master 5000 here, I'm need you to stop what you're doing and check this out."
Immediately, I knew something was up then he proceeds to send me a link to https://steemmonsters.com/ and fuckin three hours and 500+ packs later, I was hooked on Steem Monster and I think you will be too!

On a for real note, this steem monsters is a great addiction. I already got a couple of cards up on the auction that will be going on this week. I think Steem Monsters is going to be a great addition to the crypto space. With all the bullshit ICO scams, mass media fud campaigns and regulatory bullshit going on, what better way to blow off some steem than with STEEM MONSTERS!

I opened just a few but wasn't luck so far legendary wise pulled me 2 epics and some rares.

hell yea man, i couldn't help myself. Got luck a few times and got dual legendaries in a single pack. I'm still waiting to see what card stats will look like.

Blow Off Steem (Just Invented MTG card)

Mythic Rare.
Elmental Creature 6/7 power and toughness.
Costs 5 colourless mana
When blow off steem comes into play, blow all other creatures off the battlefield, they then become sick until the beginning of your next turn. When Blow Off Steem attacks, exile target permanent.
Pay 5 extra mana and give 5 damage to all your opponent's creatures.
During your upkeep, put a 1/1 Steem token into play, with Defender and with "When this creature dies, give 1 damage to your opponent and all their creatures."
When Blow Off Steem is destroyed, exile ALL creatures.
(This is like Wrath of God and Eldrazi abilities combined.)

I have some really old cards and decks I never finished building. But I don't want to sell them, they're my souvenirs.
Ain't that the story of every TCG player? The last set of MTG I bought was unstable but there is no one around here that plays MTG anymore. Sucks!
My step kids have started taking a liking into it. As long as they use their own money to buy card sets, I'm fine with it. It is expensive sometimes to play, depending what cards you're looking for, but I see it as a fun way for them to learn English (they're French-Canadian).
That's actually very good idea. I tried getting my boys into collecting cards like pokemon but all they do is slobber all over them and throw em around the house. Cards can end up being a very expensive hobby.

How long did it take to open 500?
Took me a long time. It went by much faster than Hearthstone though. Today they released a new feature where you can do mass pack openings with a click of a button and the cards will be all organized. Much better but I'd say it took me a good hour to open all the packs.
