Steemit for many users was just a vote exchange club. Most people with power were a part of upvote cycle and new users used to find some way to pay bid bots to vote their post. It was very less of a social media because except very few users nobody focused in content.

But after the big hard fork, steem ecosystem is very much friendlier place with @steemitblog's daily post and curators account like @steemcurator01, @steemcurator02. It seems everyone making good contents are paid well, at least more than before. Bid bots are absent because of new curation reward mechanism and lots of small problems like notifications are fixed. This is a perfect recipe for a significant increase in users and value of token in next bull run, if we can continue like this.

But still the number of curators are not enough and there are still lot of users who aren't getting as much value as their content provides to the platform. An AI to find exceptional content would be awesome but at this stage it doesn't seem to be feasible.

So, I think @steem should be delegating around 2 million more steem for better covering content creators and making around 100 curators. But managing 100 curators is not an easy task.

My idea is that steemit should appoint 10 curators who will curate 2 category each (example, science and cryptocurrency) and delegate 200k SP to each of them. Each curators will find 10 sub-curators. Curators will delegate 10k SP to all sub-curators, audit and manage their activities. Sub-curators will curate the tags given to them by their curators.

Each sub-curator should make a daily curation report and give 1 or 2 main picks of the day which will be voted by the curator with his 100k steem delegation.

It will cost around 2 million steem delegation but it can have huge effect and can be scaled more with less delegated steem when there are more users in the platform.
