I think you are on the money. As long as we keep moving forward and fix problems fast ( people are fickle ) and lets face it, all the new people coming online will probably be from country's were a few dollars a day is good coin.
As steemit's population grows the price will rise to meet the $ distribution needs, Investors will drive the price up for all to enjoy.
