Still waiting to be able to understand this

Someone will make this easier to understand. Someone will write it out in plain words. I just want to be able to post things here, have my upvotes give money to creators and use the account money to buy something just once? I see that my account which was 'worth' a lot 'more' previously is now only worth about $100, but if I don't know how to use it, what good is it?

Also, the thousands of daily articles about blockchain and crypto are super annoying when one is looking for current actual news. This place has the likelihood of replacing all the other social media platforms if it were easier to find things. If I click the news tag, there are so many articles that are about bitcoin and blockchain and i am looking for news about kappy or planet x...

and before you say it, I have tried reading all I can find and I am pretty intelligent but must have a mental block. make this as easy to use as money and credit cards pretty please?
