Aid for Africa is a charity alliance of U.S.-based nonprofits and their African partners working to help children, families, and communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

In Africa, hunger is a constant, chronic pain gnawing away at hungry children. Starving children in Africa can, and should, become a thing of the past. We must put an end to starvation in Africa and we can’t do it without you. Right now, children are living on the brink of famine and millions of girls and boys need emergency food assistance to survive. Millions of people in Africa are experiencing chronic hunger and the threat of famine. Conflict, recurring severe drought, and high food prices are to blame. People are starving to death — right now.Hunger and malnutrition continued to worsen in East Africa through the peak of the lean season in July.In East Africa alone — South Sudan, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Somalia — 28 million people need humanitarian assistance. About 6.9 million children are suffering from malnutrition, including more than 1 million who are severely malnourished or risk dying by the end of 2017.

As a human being i thoroughly believe we as steemian should dedicate an account on steem to support an anti-hunger program in africa ,lets come together as one for a good cause to fight malnutrition and suffering that is going on in africa and other parts of the world .
