Is mining Steem worth the investment?

I was researching recently on this subject, and while I could find a lot of info I still have some questions.
What do you think, Is it a good investment to start mining steem now?

STOPFrom what I understand you will only able to mine Steem to set up an account to avoid paying to set one up. I don't think you will be able to continually mine Steem to your account. Unless this has changed?

I'm also concerned with the security, so I was thinking of creating a dedicated account just for mining.

Steem can no longer be mined. It switched to all DPOS months ago.
