But Steem should NOT be a pvp game of trying to kill everyone else on the board. It should be a game where everyone helps everyone else achieve their mission. Instead of pvp, one giant op where instead of a group of 8 or 16 to take down the big chicken droid (yeah maybe I was in swtor this week) it's hundreds, thousands, and millions of people, each contributing their own powers and abilities to help everyone else boost stats, everyone healing everyone, everyone tanking everyone (taking the brunt of things) everyone dps-ing those who would come and harm others. Isn't that much better than everyone running around trying to kill everyone else in order to be the sole survivor and the best?
Right, this post is actually satirical in nature if you didn't notice :p, although i'm also a tad skeptical since there tends to be cheaters and freeriders taking advantage off the goodness of folks so it's not all utopia.
Edit: funny i came across this reddit post after responding earlier: https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/dahl2k/everquest_focused_on_coop_play_to_counter_ultima/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
Heh, yeah. That's interesting. In swtor, there is a bit of mix of pvp and pve but it depends on the instance you're in and all that. There are areas on some planets that have mission quests within that planet's pvp area. Oh boy, you go there at your own peril. You want to advance the story you're in, but the pvpers see that you're geared not for pvp and all jump on you. Ugh. It took me an hour to get that mission item on Tatooine. That was a couple of years ago. Not gonna do that mission again lol.
