@barrydutton - Yes. The Bittrex Steem wallet has been showing 'Under maintenance for more than 3-4 days (that I have personally seen at least - perhaps it has been offline for more). Wonder what is going on with that. I wanted to exchange some of my bitcoin for Steem and transfer to Steemit account but have been waiting for 4 days now.

I love how Blocktrades lets us withdraw our SBD or Steem as another currency! For example, I almost always withdraw by SBD from Steemit, and make it so that they deposit in Bittrex as Dogecoin. Super fast sending, with super low fees, and no bullshit warnings because the wallet is shut down (: some people say Dogecoin is a shit coin but I think it's a lot more widely recognized than other shit coins... Ridiculously low fees, too. I've been getting charged whole dollar amounts to send BTC 😕
This happens in every spike and every dive seems, if you are going to kill off withdraw/deposit options, at least be ninja about. Same shit with Coinbase on ETH up and downs, when people get frustrated they look for other options!
So sick of all the maintenance.. when do you think all of the updates will be done ?

My experience about it, when i want to transfer my XEM to another exchanger, but the price go down, my balance didn't have finished transfer in 18 hours, i totally lost some money on it
