RE: Sharing Is Caring: Why Steemit (STEEM) Is My Passion!!!
You are so right, but on the other hand, if you really want to be successful, you either have the luck to be supported by a whale or invest into STEEM or SBD yourself. From "good content" (-whatever that is - who is there to judge?) alone, it will take you a long time - and that even though Steemit is just in its beginning phases. I was thinking of inviting some Facebook friends over, but to be honest: it´s way too complicated for them. Even for me - and I´m a natural in these things - it took me a lot of research and 2 weeks of intense reading and asking a lot of questions, to even get the basics. 99% of the people won´t do that and from the 1% that do invest this much time and research, the chances to really succeed are not that high either. So yes, Steemit is a kind of life philosophy when you get it, but it´s also lots of work. So I´m not sure, if our dreams of making Steemit the next Facebook will really come true....
That is true @atmosblack. This place is a bit tricky and I do hope the communities make it a bit easier for people to navigate. At present it really is a big stream of articles without much sorting or grouping.
As for being easy, not it isnt but then again, neither is living under the bankster controlled state. Everything is relative. Spending two weeks as you said to radically change one's life is not such a big exchange.
I also agree it is also difficult unless you can buy steem. However, as the price increases, which it will, even a small amount of SP will result in being a fair bit of money. I set up the 1KSP program because I feel that 1,000 SP will be $100K by the end of the year....that is a lot of money to most people.
Over the next couple years, we could see STEEM going much higher than that.
Totally true and open doors here for your ideas and spirit! I am open to invest into my/our future - just communicating this in a similar way on Facebook, I immediately saw, that there is literally no one under my 2000 friends there, who would be ready to do the same, which made me sad to be honest.... Anyway, keep up your positive vibes - I really appreciate your postings and what they transmit!
I am highly confident they will be in tokens at some point...we all will...it is the future.
Right now, we are the trailblazers. Blockchain is only 10 years old...compare that to how long it took for electricity to be embraced, the automobile, and computer....
Things didnt happen over night. We are already seeing a thriving, active blockchain with people making money. It is decentralized, incentivized, and open....
It is the model for what is to come.
Wait until the price of STEEM is $30 or $40 and see how people are reacting to this.
I expect, by the end of the year. we will have a few million on this blockchain.
I really do hope this happens and not, that the dark side of human nature comes into the forefront. You know, sometimes I have this feeling, that this is all a big social experiment, where they want to test what happens, when you give social power a monetary value. Maybe this is just my skeptical side that has troubles in believing in the good side of humans and their interactions....
