Steem at $4.83 on coinmarketcap! (Now $6.43! a short while later)
This isn't really going to be an in depth post and is going to be a shorter one, but.. I kinda just noticed steem was at $4.83 (Now $6.43!) on coinmarketcap and couldn't keep it to myself.. I think this is a new high for steem? Or am I wrong? Was it higher before?
Either way, this is the highest I've seen it since I started watching it and paying more attention.. The first whole year on this platform I was just blogging and not really paying perhaps enough attention to other elements and just now I'm really started to get a bit deeper, I still have an insanely large amount to learn! Though that's one of the things I love about steemit, there's a lot of people talking about the subject and virtually every other subject you can imagine on here and I've learned a decent amount just sort of checking out other peoples conversations.
Whatever the case.. This rise in the value of steem I see as a positive thing and it's exciting. :) Wonder what will happen next! Definitely didn't do what Tone Vays said.. Heh. I think it's pretty evident that his prediction was not accurate on this. Anyways.. As I said, this is a shorter post, not a really in depth one so I think I'll end it here. Cheers peoples! This seems like a good way to start off the New Year. :)

Lol! Yeah.. Another good reason why I didn't get the drone earlier, I'll probably get one now without it eating into my steem nearly as much! We'll see how things continue to unfold though. I'm not ready to take anything out yet.
Up an additional $1.50 today. Although I value Steem and do believe in it, nothing should ever increase this quickly. I hope it consolidates before it rises again.
Really? Hasn't bitcoin or other coins done similar before? Is this really that unusual? If so that is a little concerning. Or.. Even more impressive if there's nothing fishy going on.
They have and bitcoin has corrected since, seems to be consolidating between 13-16K

Word! I do as well, I just checked again and it's up to $6.43 now! Dayumn! I have a feeling some people are going to be taking this platform and the steem coin a lot more seriously soon. Especially if it goes up to like $10 or more and holds it for a while.. Will be fascinating to see how it plays out. :)

Heh.. You would think! But.. Maybe it could, if perhaps there was manipulation involved or something nefarious going on, who knows.. I try to stay open minded! Though generally I agree.. After SMT launch, steem will go to the moon very fast.

It will definitely attract many new visitors toward Steem and the rise is also a very good news for the users of Steemit as well !

Hey. I'm not sure if convenient is the right word, but yeah.. I would tend to think so, the gap between value if the two is becoming less I think.. Lemme check and see what SBD is at.. I'm curious.. Yeah! SBD is a lil below $10 now and steem is above $6.. So.. You can no longer get 2 for 1 like you used to. You will still gain, but not as much. It is interesting it seems to be correcting there in regards to all that. Will be curious to see how it continues to unfold.
I reckon $10 will be the natural level for STEEM...

For a time anyways, I think it will go up above $10 myself. Probably significantly higher. But what do I know. I don't know much. :) Happy steeming to you too!
It will go higher, for sure, but I think (and please bear in mind, this is based on nothing more than gut feel) it will correct and sit around $10.

I have a feeling you're right! A lot of people have been telling me it's gonna be around $10.. Though.. I wonder how long it will be there before it moves significantly up or down? Good question, not sure anyone knows. Heh.
yes i also saw this it come back from 5.15 some hour ago and now we all happy with steem and want to stay on steem and sure it will give us more profit and in next some months it will rise up to 10$ @apolymask and it will not only booming and nor as bubble its the proper rise up which not back down bcz the attention of everyone and more invest of steem believers will rise up
