3. Thorn
It was like a little p, but there was a slight difference. It was written as, Þ or þ. Thorn was used in place of TH. For example, the letter was 'þe'. But if that happens, in the pictures below, why did y come in?
The reason is that there was no þ in German and Italian typewriters. So they used Y instead of þ.
4. That
The thorn and ampersand letters were very similar to the two letters. Like Thorne, it was used as an additional spatula and an alternative to the word 'that' like ampersand, hence its name was also that.
5. Eth
The hue was also used to denote TH, but a little different TH. According to phonetics, the pronunciation of TH can be in two ways. First, Thing's pronunciation 'Thing' and the pronunciation of 'Adar'. The latter was used as a substitute for TH, ð or Ð.
