If sun, then it should show as witness rankings. Just checked and witness rankings stayed constant.
I believe some people are stacking up on STEEM to benefit from the airdrop.
I think that's the most reasonable assumption. If I had the moolah, I'd be buying Steem now to get me some Hive!
