So how many new members of steem are here now as a result of the ads I wonder? I went out and talked to my friends about steem and brought a dozen or so to the platform. Ads are great but talking to your friends and helping others in your local neighborhood is where the real growth happens. So much ad noise out there. The value in steem is multiplied by the value of connections shared.
Spending money on the ad machine puts more money in the pocket of those who whore out the value from platforms. I would love to see you put together a campaign and go out and find someone in your local area and do something nice for them and let them know there is a community out there that cares about there voice and help them get a steem account and give them some steem. This can have bigger network effects than we care to limit with imagination.
