Nineteenth Week of Growing SP Through Faucet earnings

in #steem5 years ago

Thanks to the considerable drop of crypto prices in general, faucet payments have gone up a bit, and despite not having made as many claims as usual in a couple of days, I still managed to reach a new record.

Last week, I earned 12,314 satoshi, converted to 0.01616730 Dash and traded for 7.126 STEEM through BlockTrades (Steemd transaction link). More than 7 STEEM only from faucets! New record!

Only time will tell whether Bitcoin and other cryptos will continue dropping or will recover, but when they drop, the faucets pay more (because a greater amount of crypto is needed to reach the same value the faucets used to pay out). If the STEEM price also drops along with the other crypto, our faucet earnings translate into more STEEM. It may seem like the amount of STEEM doesn't matter since it'll be worth less, but once the STEEM price recovers, the amount will make a big difference. Well, this is the line of thought of us crypto believers :D .

My SP delegation to the Brazilians project got me a total of 1.028 STEEM in the week, and my QuratorTokens (which give daily STEEM payouts just for holding them) got me 0.208 STEEM in the week. Adding the faucet earnings, the total became 8.362 STEEM, which I powered up.

If anyone else is interested in growing SP through faucet earnings and would like to use the faucet websites I'm using, here's a post with more details and tips, and here's a short interview with a few more tips.
