Back in the Saddle!
Ok, well, for readers and friends you know I've had a funky 2 week experience. Uncle died, a separate argument with my spouse ensued, was issued a polite invitation to leave my house, resolved that a few days later (we seem to go through that every couple of years), went to Florida for a meetup, and now I'm back.
Time to get to work. I have some household and daily tasks to accomplish including fixing my car, getting my work-outs in, talking to a company my family invested in to potentially lend them some time to help them get up and running, getting a back log of posts out (I did a Boston meetup and never posted... couple of shows, some projects). I have to get caught up on Steem Monsters and see when various stages of that is ready to go.
I think I need to include continuous improvement of my marriage in the main list. We've had a rough go of things. I don't think I'm the lone truther, or sole person who struggled with family death (only 2 of the 11 people in the two generations above mine still live) who has had this experience. Toss in some overextended use of alcohol and some financial roller coasters and it's been a hell of a decade. Things seem to be mending between my wife and I, but it's going to take work and effort. Gonna explore if it's time to prioritize this some.
There's a lot to do. I suppose there's a lot of DMs to work through too. If you've sent me requests and I didn't get to them in the last week or two I'm sorry. I'm feeling fairly recharged and am looking forward to getting shit done again. If we're all lucky we can couple that with some big BTC price movements, which should impact Steem and SBD as well, and we'll be sitting pretty very soon.
Thank you for your patience. It's time to get back to work!
Mod Forum
This Saturday is going to be a MSP-Moderator and Witness forum. Just us shooting the breeze after several of us had a weekend shooting the breeze. Should be good! 11am EST Saturday on MSP-Waves. I hope you can tune in.
Thanks for the real world update. So many times people especially in social media only share the highlights of their life and the struggle gets ignored. But the struggle is real and I appreciate anyone who’s willing to be real in this online world. Thanks for sharing and glad to have you here supporting this community! All the best! :-)
There is always a rainbow after the rain. Trials and pain are part of our lives inorder for us to be strong in every circumstances that comes our way. Good to be back @aggroed and continued your journey.
Sending angels to help ya out!!!! It is always darkest before the dawn, your just one obstacle away from a blessing, and this too shall pass!! Love ya!! Glad to see you are back!
I'm glad you made it back safely, and that you came out here to begin with even in the midst of some turmoil.
To some extent it feels that stepping away alone (on vacation or whatever) gives you a better perspective on priorities when you get back. For me, anyway, prioritizing wife/family never has a downside. Nobody sits on their deathbed saying 'I wish I hadn't spent so much time with my wife and kids.'
Anyway, thank you for the visit, and good luck in your life's work!
Back to work then, Muh! I need full detail report of the furries you have met. You also captured
our soulssome pictures. Can’t wait to see those! Thanks for checking in. The old adage is good things come after the dark night of the soul. I see great things happening for you. They already are.
Sorry about all the issues in your life. Like you said we have all been there.
Keep going we need you in here. ❤️ Plus we are here for you.
I am into numbers and when I did the upvote took you right to 911. That used to be freaky for me. I have made peace with that number. I know I'm nuts. Later :)
Well you just summed up my life in a nut shell. both my parents died by the time i was 25, me and my father in law both like to drink so we are probably pretty toxic to be around each other with a case of beer in a 100 mile radious and i have been on this roller coaster since i was a kid. I want off. Will steemit help me do that? I hope so.
Death is a price every one must pay.
Stay strong if you can because i know the pains it comes with.
Lost my dad three years ago and the vacuum is still there
The pains still fresh. April 22nd will make it three years but has not being easy
Awwww, I feel terribly sorry about your uncle , accept my condolences. Marriage is a beautiful thing on the long run, but every beautiful things has experience some rough or hard times, and Staying together through it makes good couple.
I was wondering if the argument with your spouse led to the invitation to leave your house but nevertheless, it’s so pleasing to hear you got it resolved .
Well with the number of activities lined up, I think you’d need a helping hand. I’d help if I was close . Smiles 😊
I’m really touched about the loss of your family members, I know how it feels to loose just one person when I lost my dad and I mutilply that with 9 loses. What don’t kill you makes you stronger they say and lucky enough you’ve got friends to help you scale through .
You’re welcome back!!! And I wish you all the best in your marriage.
So sad for your lost.it's to be done well@ aggroed
Glad you are back. Thanks for the update.
My track record with women in general and wives in specific is not good. So this is going to be worth about half what you pay for it.
You will never get to the late part of your life and say "I wish I'd have given my wife less time and parts of me". Guarantee you it will not happen.
In the end, it's just like customer retention. It's a hell of a lot easier to keep the one you've got than to find her replacement.
Glad you are back, man. I've missed you. If you ever need to talk about the 'suitcase drill' I'm here. I've done it a time or 50.
