La jornada 5 de LA LIGA ha finalizado y terminó con un inespedaro empate del Girona en el Camp Nou, Los "culés" se adelantaron con un gol de Messi 17.5M, pero el partido se complicó porque el VAR y el árbitro decidieron expulsar por un codazo involuntario de Lenglet 4.5M, así que el Girona reaccionó y remontaron el partido con dos goles del enrachado Stuani 9.2M (9 puntos).
La jornada se inicio en Huesca dónde la Real Sociedad se llevó una importante victoria con un gol de Merino 4.5M, aguantando el empuje del equipo oscense, que jugó con dos hombres más los últimos minutos, pero no pudo marcar.
El Sábado por la mañana el Alavés se dió un festín, con Ibai Gómez (13 puntos) en plan estelar, ante el Rayo Vallecano que no se pudo recomponer a la expulsión de Ba 4.5M. Para el domingo estaban programados 4 partidos, al mediodía Ben Yedder (18 puntos) 7.7M y Sarabia (17 puntos) 7.9M se llevaron por delante a un combativo Levante, al que pesó el penalty errado por Morales 8.5M que hubiera supuesto el 2-2. A partir de ese momento los "hispalenses" aprovecharon sus ocasiones y la inspiración de sus atacantes. Por la tarde en Villarreal partido muy igualado, que pudo desequilibrarse tras la expulsión de Parejo 8.0M, pero el submarino amarillo no lo supo aprovechar y el Valencia aguantó el 0-0 en el marcador. Para terminar el resumen de la jornada nos queda el partido del Benito Villamarín, dónde el Betis supo reponerse a los dos goles marcados por el Athletic Club de Bilbao en la primera parte, la expulsión de Susaeta 7.5M fue clave en la reacción "verdiblanca". Al final reparto de puntos justo que deja a los dos equipos satisfechos.
