Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 37 Overview

We’re approaching endgame as GW 37 is officially over.

Many of the plots are coming to an end.

Starting on the lower side of the table Cardiff is officially relegated, after losing 2-3 against Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace has pretty much become the reaper of the premier league.This is the third consecutive season in which defeat to Crystal Palace has condemned a team to relegation. 2 Seasons ago Hull was the victim, last season it was Stoke and this season both Huddersfield and Cardiff were relegated by Palace.

The fight for the 7th spot has also ended, as Wolverhampton beat Fulham at home. For the Wolves Doherty delivered with an assist.

The fight for the champions league spots was a bit underwhelming, as only Chelsea managed to win. Spurs lost again Bournemouth. This was the last game of the season for Son, since he got red-carded. For the cherries Fraser got an assist. Nevertheless Tottenham managed to qualify to the champions league next season.

Arsenal could only draw against Brighton in a match where they could win. For the gunners Aubameyang scored. Brighton had nothing going for them, because Cardiff lost their match. The Gunners could still qualify to the champions league if they win the Europa League, otherwise they would need to catch up with Spurs on goal average, which is pretty much impossible.

United was perhaps the most disappointing result of the big six. The red devils drew against Huddersfield. Even though Pogba hit the crossbar twice, this result will keep United ouf the champions league.

Chelsea beat Watford 3 - 0 at home. This victory guarantees champions league football for the Blues next season, In this match Hazard delivered with 2 assists and David Luiz scored again.

The only plot that has yet to close is the fight for the Premierleague.
Both teams struggled to win their respective matches but in the end they succeeded.

Liverpool won 2 - 3 against Newcastle with a late goal from Origi, for Liverpool van Dijk and Salah scored and Alexander-Arnold got 2 assists. For Newcastle Rondon got another goal and one assist.

City beat Leicester 1 - 0 with an amazing goal from Vincent Kompany. Laporte got the assist

Steem Fantasy league

The average score for this gameweek was 49 points. A result which was definitely lower than the result of last gameweek. This could be because many of the most popular players such as Agüero Mane, Robertson, Jimenez, Sterling and most notably Son, who got a negative result didn’t deliver.

Agüero was 28.5% the most chosen captain, followed by Salah (7%), Sterling (10%) and Hazard and Mane (8%)

The vast majority of us (92%) played no Chip. The rest was split evenly between Bench Boost and Triple captain. Luckily nobody in our league put the TC chip on Son. People who used the bench boost were the most successful on average with 63 points

Team Ehizzy fc from Nigeria was our best team for this week with 96 points. He played the bench boost and captained Salah and also had Ake, Townsend and Alexander-Arnold. He jumped 24 positions from 103rd to 79th only 3 points behind me. Well done!

Stern des Sudens kicked Kinderjurgen Klopp out of the top 10, only by 6 points.

The fight for the first place is getting very interesting.

Team awd2 is leading with 2348 points, but has been slowing down and team Metalheads and ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) are catching up very fast, now they are only 18 and 19 points behind the first place respectively.
