Steem Fantasy Premier League - Gameweek 33 Review

Gameweek 33 also known as Blank gameweek 33 (BGW 33 ) starts on 5th April (yes on a Friday). This will be season’s second and last BGW.

City looks unstoppable and they now reclaimed the first place. That being said Liverpool has stopped their continuous decline on form and are only 1 point behind. Their last victory was an own goal in the last minute.

The difference between third and sixth is getting narrower, now there’s only 3 points between Tottenham, Chelsea, United and Arsenal. Arsenal has played one less match though

Cardiff has fallen behind its direct rivals in the quest to avoid relegation, they’re now 5 points behind Burnley, Southampton and Brighton. Their current form isn’t helping them either, as they’ve only got 3 points in their last 5 matches.
Huddersfield and Fulham are now officially relegated.

The first match of the gameweek will be Southampton playing Liverpool. Liverpool will need the win if they want to win the league. Southampton on the other hand has been a very strong team recently. They have won 3 of their last 5 games and their 2 defeats were against United and Arsenal.

Bournemouth will be playing against Burnley. The cherries are very strong at home and Burnley are usually a weaker team away from home. I think Bournemouth should win this game.

Already relegated Huddersfield will be playing against Leicester. Things are looking bright for Leicester.Vardy, Tielemans are players you should keep an eye on. Wes Morgan have surprisingly scored twice in a row.

Newcastle will be hosting Crystal Palace. I think Newcastle should win this game as they have won their last 5 games at home. Schär will be returning for the turns as his suspension is now over.

On Sunday Everton will be playing against Arsenal. It’s worth noting that the gunners have already reached the same amount of points as last season and they have got 3 clean sheets in their last 5 matches. However they are usually weaker away from home. Everton on other hand is showing better results. They currently have the 5th best form of the league.

Possible starting lineups:

Arsenal: Leno, Kolasinac, Mustafi, Sokratis, Monreal, Xhaka, Maitland-Niles, Guendouzi,
Özil, Aubameyang, Lacazette
Everton: Pickford, Digne, Keane, Zouma, Coleman, Gomes, Gueye, Bernard, Sigurdsson, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

The last match of the week will be played on Monday. It involves Chelsea and West Ham.I think Chelsea should win this match, as they usually are a stronger team at home.

For those of You who might want to prepare for the future take into account that GW 34 will be a mostly normal gameweek, with only Cardiff and Brighton playing twice.

GW 35 will be another double gameweek. If you haven’t used your chips yet GW 33 and 35 are your best available options.
