STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME SEASON 5 - DAY 8 ROUND 2 - 475 SBD Prize Pool So Far
Snake and Eggs for breakfast anyone?
In the last round, the players found a rattlesnake when they moved farther inland.
It could prove to be an easy meal, or perhaps a quick death... Let's see what options the players chose and how it worked out for them.
DAY 8 ROUND 1 RESULTS
OPTION 1 - Try to leave it alone, and move on.
This was the most popular option among the survivors. They played it safe and made it past the round without any issues, and without any snake for dinner.
OPTION 2 - Try to carefully aim your pistol and shoot it in the head. (For players with a loaded gun)
One player decided to take the shot, @gregory-f. It cost him 1 round of ammunition, but he got a good snake to enjoy over a fire that he started with his firestarter. Delicious. @Gregory-f now needs to eat prior to the end of Day 10 in order to avoid starvation.
OPTION 3 – Try to smash that sucka with a rock and then eat it up.
Another survivor chose to try to smash the rattlesnake in the head with a rock. The quick snake moved at the first attempt, and even tried to strike @sireland. Thankfully, our survivor was quick and dispatched the snake with his second attempt. He may have eaten it raw, but he was successful and now needs to eat prior to the end of Day 10 in order to avoid starvation.
DAY 8 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
So far as I know, there are only 7 players still alive and well. Here are the remaining players.

As the remaining players press on, they notice that woods begin to look a lot more like the beach again, and then it happens.
One by one they begin to sink. No, it is not a beach. It is quicksand...
Will this unfortunate situation lead to their deaths, or can they make it out alive.... Let's see what their options are.
OPTIONS
As always, choose carefully.
* OPTION 1 - Try to dive under the quick sand to get to the bottom and then move towards the edge.
* OPTION 2 - Try to "swim" out of it as fast as possible by rapidly moving your hands and feet.
* OPTION 3 – Try to "lie down" in the quick sand, roll onto your back and slowly "swim" to the edge.
* OPTION 4 - Give up and sink to your death.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
Each player must reply to my comment below containing the Option that they wish to choose within the next 24 hours. If they do not reply to the comment of their choice, they will be eliminated. Also, any players who do not reply in time will be eliminated from gameplay and have to wait until Season 6 to try again.
As always, reply with your inventory, but also include the next time that you need to eat in order to avoid starvation, like this:

Hi @papa-pepper, I'm here for the very first time. What's the background of the game and how can one play it? I have watched some tv programs where there used to be such tasks for the contestants at different stages. It sounded like that.
Basically hundreds of players sign up and begin to play. Each round they choose an option. Sometimes they die and are eliminated. Eventually, only one player is left, and the last few get rewards from the prize pool.
There can be only one! I am Highlander!
