So far, I have given away a lot of STEEM running this game. In the first two seasons, everyone who played got paid! Soon, you will have your own chance at winning some serious STEEM.

WHAT IS STEEM-POCALYPSE?

For those of you who do not already know, STEEM-Pocalypse is a daily survival game that @papa-pepper runs here on steemit in an elimination style. Since I do not restrict participants, as many steemians who want to join in can.

Each day, a scenario is presented with multiple options. Each team must choose one option each day and reply with a decision within 24 hours of the post. Some options lead to death, while other options allow the team to survive.

In each round, the scenario presented will vary. Some are educational rounds based upon realistic situations where real information is applied, while other rounds are random situations that I create. Either way, the outcomes of the options are predetermined. Therefore, the teams that choose options which are predetermined to lead to dead perish while teams that choose options that lead to survival continue on in the gameplay.

Also, each team must eat at least once every two days of gameplay (four rounds) in order to avoid starvation. Basically, that is how it works.

The opportunity to connect with the community and make a little money all while playing a game is exactly the kind of creativity steemit seems to strive for. We see what I like to call the three "F's": friends, funds and fun! (And getting your wife murdered by forest snipers is secretly hilarious!

In Seaon 2, @lukmarcus & @kambrysia outlasted the rest and took home 400 STEEM! That was a job well done!

Most recently @louiscpt, @deepapoudel & @aashishkandel were the final players of the game. Unfortunately, they all died, but that doesn't mean that they did not win! 800 STEEM in prizes was split between the teams! Here are a few of their thoughts.

No i did not want to die now !!!! Thank you @papa-pepper this is truly an amazing game one has so mush to learn and then a little bit of research make one remember some of the survival tricks . Well done to all the players it was great fun playing the STEEM-POCALYPSE survival game contest with you all .

It was a well play, we had backup food supply, we had guns, what else do we need to survive? yep! this taught me something... sometimes resources aren't enough, a wrong decision could me fatal!! It was a nice play, and a more adventurous and fun way of learning nature and also survivorship.

It was really a great excitement, and this is all because of you @aashishkandel, I would have never reached here alone, and you made it to the winning, wow!

CHANGES FOR SEASON 4

Though steemians will have the option to team up later on, Season 4 will start as solo play. In the previous seasons I have used a Dice Roll or Coin Flip to make decisions for teams that do not reply within the 24 hour deadline. This has helped some teams make it rather far without any input from themselves. I would hate to have a "no show" team who did not respond beat other users who are active and participating.

Therefore, for Season 4, individual steemians will have to make it through multiple days of successfully responding prior to the 24 hour deadline in order to team up and continue. This will make sure that the participants are committed and active users.

Since we will start up with some solo play and not know for certain who will form which teams later on, during the first few rounds teams will have the opportunity to gather resources and tools which may help them later on. This will also provide an opportunity for users to make themselves more attractive to potential teammates later on, since they will have more to offer and bring more the table.

Just like last season, not everyone will get paid for playing. The final few teams will each receive a portion of the total pot.
