STEEM-POCALYPSE SURVIVAL GAME - SEASON 3 - DAY 4 ROUND 1 - 475 STEEM Total Prize Pool So Far
Trying to remedy arthritis pain in the wild?
Our teams were challenged with a tall task last round. The man claimed to have something special to show the teams, if they could help with his arthritis pain. Obviously options are limited in the wild, so let's see what they came up with.
DAY 3 ROUND 2 RESULTS
OPTION 1 – Try to subdue the man and take whatever he has on him.
It seems that after the recent deaths in the previous rounds, no one risked this option this time.
OPTION 2 - Try to shoot the man and take whatever he has on him.
No one tried this option either... which is good.
OPTION 3 – Show him this plant and tell him that by rubbing it on his body his arthritis will be relieved.

One team chose to attempt this, although it was due to a dice roll. When you suggest to someone that they rub Poison Ivy on themselves, they may not take too kindly to it. This man sure didn't. The way he figured it, any folks who are that cruel just aren't the kind of folks that he wants running out. Two quick shots from his pistol were his reply to the suggestion. Now we are down to eight teams.

OPTION 4 – Show him this plant and tell him that if he stings himself with it his arthritis will be relieved.
The remainder of the teams chose this option. Amazingly, Stinging Nettle can be used to relieve Arthritis as well as everything else that it is good for. People actually sting themselves with the raw plant in a process known as urtication, which comes from the scientific name of Stinging Nettle, Urtica diotica.
The man sure was skeptical about it at first, but since he wasn't as familiar with it as he was with Poison Ivy, he gave it a try. Sure enough, it worked. (If you are still skeptical, please check out the information from the Arthritis Foundation or Mother Earth News on the subject.
DAY 4 ROUND 1 SCENARIO
The man decided that he had bettter hold up his end of the bargain. He looked at the teams, and then told them to follow him. He walked for almost a half hour before he turned and spoke. The teams were afraid for a moment, but waited and listened.
"The time has come for us to part ways. If you don't want that bear or me to have to mess with you, you had best not come back this way. The town that I am about to show you is empty and looted. You will only find one useful thing here, and you had best use it quickly."
With that, the man lead them out of the bushes and to the edge of the town.
"It has a full tank of gas and handles fine, it's just that the last driver did not make it and I have no use for it. Since y'all were kind enough to help me out, I figured that it was the least that I could do. Thank you and goodbye."
With that, the man left. The teams took advantage of the opportunity and were soon rolling out of town headed in the other direction.
The new transportation would help with travel, but not with hunger. All teams must at least find something to eat by the end of gameplay on Day 4, so this round or next round they will need food. The Stinging Nettle would have made a good meal, but the man claimed that for himself and kicked the teams out.
The teams park and get out to take a look around. The pickings are pretty slim, but maybe one of these plants is edible. Maybe there is even something in the truck, who knows.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 – Don't try any wild plants and just search the truck for food.
OPTION 2 – Eat as much of this plant as you can to get a good, full meal and then press on.
OPTION 3 – Eat as much of this plant as you can to get a good, full meal and then press on.

Each team must reply with their decision within 24 hours of this post to avoid a Coin Toss. You have 3 options. Please remember, there is a lot of money to be earned in this contest and multiple teams have already perished because of Coin Tosses.
