Steem Music: For the Love of Live Music and Coffee - First Gathering @ Liberal Latte

I have been around in the #steem-cartoon community for a while with the help of my father @abgmie and brother @kymio. To this date I still can’t believe I am in the same Whatsapp group with this pool of cartoonists who are considered ‘legends’ in Malaysia’s comic industry 😂

So last week when they told me that another community started by @perennial and @calebleejl called #steem-music is having their first gathering and play some music, I thought why not I join in. I do enjoy live music and also I can go and take some pictures while I’m at it! I am currently practicing and building my photography portfolio so I kinda like bringing my camera just about everywhere I go. (Maybe I’ll start a post on my photography works later)

The #steem-music gathering session last Saturday at a nice cozy place called Liberal Latte. I was latte (pun intended) to the party that night because of personal reasons and only managed to catch the last two acts. It was a duo performance and they turned out to be twins! They are known to be @joanneandjulia.

For the last act, @kymio with his performance on keyboard and singing What About Now by Daughtry and also Ratuku by Wings.

There was also Finaz (Instagram: @syafinaz.allwee) just sitting behind the cafe, singing and enjoying the show while painting her own masterpiece.

With the tagline “We leave no note behind”, I think their first gathering was a success. It felt very welcoming bringing all people of the same passion together. I am so looking forward to the upcoming gigs and hoping to see more people performing!
