They call it secrets & I call it informations

When I fist got started on Steemit it was hard to get attention on my blogs  . Because i didn't have any baggage to use to be successful . But Currently there is informations i want to share to help others grow. Now on to the first information .

1. Steemit is NOT a Community !

Now this one is really important. People say and believe it too that you need to build a network to grow on steemit. They say that you should talk to as many people as possible, and be friendly with everyone. They say that you need to communicate with people on discord, comment below their posts, vote others to build a relationship so that others vote back as well. But I have experienced that it is a complete noob strategy !! Yes it is possible to receive votes from 10 people after talking to a hundred. That is possible but instead of speaking to those 100 people, it would be much better if you put your time in providing people with what they want to READ !!! Are you getting it? Are you ?? I just told you the biggest secret !

A popular person can't speak to every fan of his and if you think you can become popular by talking to everybody then get ready because new steemians are joining every day. I wonder how will you talk to everyone.

2-Think Like A Whale !

If you were a whale what kind of post would you vote for ? You would have a lot of choices as there are new posts popping up every minute on Steemit. Most likely you would choose something with value right ? I believe this could be a good way of thinking if you want to make a successful post.I am not saying that we should only post long essays that take hours to write. I am not saying that we should only post once a day. I'm just saying that we should remember that quality pays off. It will give you more upvotes, heavier upvotes and also better exposure. Just one really good post can get resteemed and spread like wild fire, it can give you many loyal followers. And who knows maybe later when you go on steemvp, You realize that the top followers are the ones who started following you from that one great post .

3- PLAN AHEAD

One thing I have started  is planning ahead for my posts. When I'm out and about I think of ideas for my next blog post and put them in the notepad on my phone. On the next day I pick 1 to 3 of those ideas and begin to write and at the end of that day I'm already planning what I will blog about tomorrow. That way I never go a day without a post. If my ideas start running thin, I post less that day and save some for the next.

4-You don't "suck" if you don't make money at first  .

  Don't become discouraged if your first few posts don't do much. It's normal and completely expected! It's not fun looking at your first few posts that failed to make a few cents. Believe me I know. At the time time it's important to remember you're new here! If you look at the posting history of the "high earners" you'll notice that it took them time to build some momentum as well. This is not a get rich scheme. You have to keep posting consistently before you'll see lasting results.

5-Don't upvote every post   .   

 Your upvotes matter! Make sure you're using your upvote power to reward content you find genuinely valuable, not just out of habit. Unlike sites like Reddit, where you can upvote haphazardly, your upvotes have limited power on Steemit. The more you upvote in a period of 24 hour period the less effect your action has. So use your upvotes wisely. I've heard a good rule of thumb is to only upvote 10-20 times in a 24 hour period . Your upvote gauge is like a stamina bar. It goes up slowly over time. Use them wisely.
