RE: Steem Debate (Get Paid For Your Opinion) Round #4 Results And Round #5 Topic
I should make a point for me just participating in the discussion. I dislike having to resteem just for the sake of taking part in a contest. I prefer to keep my own blog page clean for my followers to use.
I still support you by upvoting and being here and I don't have a particular need for the price either, so it's all good.
On topic
I would prefer a son myself because I knew that I would be a cliched overprotective father if I would end up having a daughter and I would not enjoy that one bit.
That is probably the only point that speaks for one gender over the other for me regarding this question.
Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks that it's abusive to resteem just for the sake of taking part... I don't want to clutter my own blog page either
I had never seen it that way.
But I think you guys have a point.
So how do get your friend to know about the initiativesame you are excited about?
Personally I would tell them, I mean on my chat groups and so forth. I am not against resteeming, I'm against making it a condition. If I see a really interesting initiative I want people to know it, true, but for example I plan on posting ideas on trading and investment here in steemit... and most likely the people who will follow me are the people who are interested in those ideas (and many bots searching for upvotes). Resteeming is posting something on my feed for all my followers, and if they're interested in contests, they're sure to look at the contest feed and besides think on how you would feel by receiving tons of the same contest on your feed?. Maybe once Steemit changes how that works and shows the post only once no matter how often the people you follow resteem it it will be different, but right now I don't like forcing people to resteem in order to participate in a contest, it's just my opinion, though.
Thanks.
Opinion noted.
We will be looking into that.
It has been the steemit way. But I like innovation.
Do you runnung any contests yourself?
I like you, mate. You think in the right direction. And with "Right direction", I mean the same direction I am looking to.
I should have probably just replied to all of these comments in this parent in one big comment, but now I am commited to answering individually.
I answered that post in my most recent post as well. Ignore the shameless self-plugging, give it a look if you are interested.
TL;DR version would be to just actually combine or replacing resteeming by actually writing a blogpost about anothers post or the poster himself. I do that once every week, but I consider to do it once a day because it fits the spirit of #upvoteplankton and #minnowuprising.
In that case, you may end up loving my most recent blog post. I wanted to post about this topic for quite a long time, so I am glad to finally had the muse for doing so.
At long last.
Thank man,
I now understand.
You are then welcome to share your idea in any format.
Thanksfor giving your opinion.
Thus is a hot topic in my area.
The baby's sex is huge a huge concern for must families around the world in many cultures too.
Yeah, I know about that. It comes down to physical capability and outdated views on the value of genders. It's a rough topic, really.
Hahaha
Hahaha
A male child then.
Okay
Are your saying that the male child does not need to be protected?
Interesting question. If I raise my children right, neither of them will need all that much protection. With that being said, getting the "daddys little girl" syndrome out of a mans system is next to impossible I believe.
Sir @paparodin, you have not followed the format laydown in rule number 5, since you have not numbered your points.
Hence you are not considered an official debater!
