Feature Request: Allow users to set 100% SP or declined payout for comments
Not really much to add to this except I don't like getting paid in SBD, which is why I want it.

What happens if you decline any payment? Do you get nothing and just help the community? I was wondering why this was an option the other day.
When you decline rewards, the rewards remain in the pool, so it goes towards raising everyone else's reward a little.
I generally don't set my posts to this setting except when I am pretty sure they will get a lot of votes and the issue in question is about benefiting the community. I also don't like 50/50, but since I have to work a lot harder to get upvotes with a new account, I won't be posting declined payout posts for a while, unless it seems really necessary to support my position.
That's mighty good of you for the community. I will try my best to help this account also.
I agree. It would be so much easier to get Steem directly rather than having to sell SBD in order to buy Steem. After all, isn't Steem what the company WANTS us to hold? Or is it that they make a commission on the sales?
Maybe, if they are the major exchanger in the internal market, which currently values steem at 1.5 SBD...
Being that I have 1234 steem stuck in poloniex still, every time I exchange SBD for steem I am losing. Considering how much I may yet still lose, you can see why I still prefer it and promote the giving of user discretion as to whether SBD is issued at all. It seem obvious to me since SBD shot up to $2 in exchange value, that there is something amiss with the internal exchange rate.
I'm a dummy when it comes to trading, so I have no idea what drives the market. In fact I get nervous each time I need to do a trade, so for me, getting it in Steem straight away just saves me the trouble. I wish I could buy some Steem directly from someone who is powering down (either locally with cash or perhaps through PayPal) because I don't like the idea of going through a 3rd party and having my money stuck in some exchange like you are suffering through.
It's not a good feeling... On that note, they finally acknowledged the deposit. I didn't need a written invitation after all the shit I have been through... you'll see it in @elfspice's wallet now, just saw a notification also that it's been done.
Wow! What an ordeal. Finally its over. Hopefully you didn't lose too much with the delay. I'm happy you got your money. I think if were me, I would have freaked out.
I'm amazed that it came back at all. Maybe there is some hope :)
