This piece of job came as a last minute request for a fellow colleague and friend of mine. He is the Dean of the Faculty of Creative Multimedia. He held the position for 6 years and under his helm, the faculty has improved by leaps and bounds, if there is one word to describe him, he is a 'visionary'. It is people like him who makes a difference to our community.

This is the request to complete a caricature for Professor Ken and the request came in the weekend. The dateline to complete is on Thursday.

Although his name is Kian, but we like to give him a name that we can remember, sorry for that Dr. Ken.

Understanding My Subject

Somehow I have a slightly different approach from other artists. I can draw my subject better when I know them personally and Ken was an easy subject because I knew him for such a long time. His features would sometimes represent his character. He is an effective leader and he is quite a nice guy, so his features are soft but again he cant be manipulated.

He is quite an unassuming guy, one guy that is very little about the puff and bureaucracy and dealing with him is always as simple as a verbal request but some forms will still have to be filled for administration purposes.

This is one guy that made studying fun and less strenuous.
