Drawing Earth With Charcoal Powder
Before I start a drawing project, I usually study the subject that will be drawn in moderate size. It is important to understand whether the subject corresponds to the medium being used. This can prevent wastage in terms of time and meterials.
Base on my experience, not all subjects are suitable by using black, white and gray of charcoal tones.
In terms to understand the best composition on a subject, study will give a good advantage before translating into larger size.
Today I wanted to share my recent study of the earth also known as the blue marble.
Here l recorded the entire study process in the form of time lapse.

It's only when you're flying above it that you realize how incredible the Earth really is.

Drawing Earth
Earth is complex and mysterious. Third rock from the sun. It is alive, abstract and ever changing. Its like a beautiful marble with its oceans and clouds.
From an astronaut's view, earth should be mesmerising. Its constant change makes it a very elusive subject, one that must reflect movement and charm.
