2 - Space babe

Good day to you guys! How have you been?

Here is my recent art. It's an OC made by my friend. There's a recent thing in Twitter that made me draw this. It's called #drawthisinyourstyle, and a friend of mine asks for her OC to be drawn in other style. So, I did.

Isn't she adorable? An alien babe.

So, here is the breakdown of my process.

1- SKETCH

• This mostly the part where I just loosely sketch. This is the one I picked.
  

2- LINEART

• Take your time. I am not a fan of lineart, so, I took so much time in this part.
  

3- COLOUR BLOCKING

• This is so that I can easily colour the whole picture without going outside the lines. Making the colouring part so much easier, and less messy.
  

4- FLATS

• I put each colour on it's own layer. For example, the hair is on the hair layer, the clothes on it's own, you get the picture :3
  

5- DETAILS

• Colouring in the eyes and teeth.
  
  

6- COLOUR IT IN
So, remember all the blocked colours in each layers? Now, you can start colouring them in and give more depth inside.

• Like, the hair.
  
• And the clothes.
  
• Lastly, the skin.
  

7- PRETTY TEXTURES

• add the lil textures after colouring.
  

8- BACKGROUND

• We add some background for a lil' more colour, because, y'know, she's from space and all ;3
  
• Add some stars for some ✨ ✨ ✨ pazaass ✨ ✨ ✨ ✨
  

9- FINISHING TOUCHES

• add some cute lil' freckles, a lil star in her lovely eyes, and my signature.
