Drawing A Dragon Slayer Natsu Dragneel (Bilingual)

Dear Steemians!!

Actually, drawing cartoons or anime is rarely done and only a few times, so I didn't really understand how the basic technique to draw it. Beside this, I also rarely to watch it. However, these last three weeks I was following the anime series Fairy Tail and I was very interested in drawing one of the main characters that is Natsu Dragneel, a child who was raised and educated by a time dragon Igneel who taught him witchcraft until he became a Dragon Slayer and he joined a guild called Fairy Tail. There he met many friends like family. He had the goal of searching for the lost Igneel since he was a child. Mission after mission he did with his friends and he would very angry when guild members get hurt. He is one of my favorite characters in Fairy Tail because he is very strong and he is willing to risk his life for her friends in Fairy Tail.

Sebenarnya, menggambar kartun adalah jarang kulakukan dan baru beberapa kali saja sehingga saya belum terlalu mengerti bagaimana teknik dasar menggambarnya. Selain itu saya juga jarang menonton anime. Namun, tiga minggu terakhir ini saya sedang mengikuti serial anime Fairy Tail dan saya sangat tertarik menggambar salah satu karakter utamanya yaitu Natsu Dragneel, Seorang anak yang dibesar dan dididik oleh seokor naga api Igneel yang mengajarinya ilmu sihir hingga dia menjadi seorang Dragon Slayer dan dia bergabung dengan sebuah guild bernama Fairy Tail. Disana dia bertemu dengan teman temannya. Dia mempunyai tujuan mencari Naga Igneel yang menghilang sejak dia masih kecil. Misi demi misi dia lakukan dengan teman temannya dan dia sangat marah bila anggota guild tersakiti. Dia adalah salah satu karakter favoritku di Fairly Tail karena dia rela mempertaruhkan nyawanya demi teman temannya di Fairy Tail.

As I said earlier, I am not used to drawing anime, so I really by seeing the reference image. I drew this with 2B, 3B, 4B and drawing pen pencils. I made it step by step from hair to feet.

Seperti yang saya bilang tadi, saya tidak terbiasa menggambar anime, jadi saya benar benar melihat gambar referensinya. Saya menggambar ini dengan pensil grafit 2B, 3B, 4B dan drawing pen. Saya membuatnya tahap demi tahap dari rambut hingga kaki.

By looking at the reference image, I sketched it with a mechanical pencil. This took a while for me to sketch, very different when I was drawing a human face. Then I thicken the sketch with drawing pen.

Dengan melihat gambar referensi, saya membuat sketsanya dengan pensil mekanik. Ini memakan waktu cukup lama bagiku membuat sketsa, sangat berbeda ketika saya menggambar wajah. Kemudian saya menebalkan sketsanya dengan drawing pen.

Next, I shaded the sketch I had made using a pencil and I started from top to bottom.

Selanjutnya, saya mengarsir sketsa yang sudah saya buat dengan menggunakan pensil dan saya mulai dari atas hingga ke bawah.
