Digital Art #01 Character Design of Evan the Elephant

Hi Stemmis and artist, today I would like to spend more times on digital art painting, cause it is been so many years that I haven't been touch my wacom yet, so that need to open a record for drawing with wacom now. Here I have spent almost 7 hours to finish what I did by today,will share to you step by step tutorial of digital painting, enjoy.

各位大大们和艺术家们，你们好。今天呢是星期天，所以想花多点时间在创作艺术，由于有很长时间没用Wacom 画画了，为了打破纪录就决定一定要画Digital Painting 一次。而这次呢，我用了差不多七个小时，史无前例的作出一个作品来，我也会向大家分享这次的教程，希望你们会喜欢。

Step 1

For first we need to do the outline and sketch out the shape we want. Of cause if you do not sure how it look you can mirror or rotate with horizontal to check out your drawing is nice or not. And then you need to paint it with original basic color first for painting more details on it.
首先呢我会先绘画和打草稿，把你要的形状先画好来，为了方便能够涂颜色，如果你不清楚你画得好不好，你可以左右对调，这样就很容易查看你画得有没有走样了。然后呢你必须打底色，把你想要的底色不过边的涂好来，尽量关掉线图来涂底色，这样会涂起来会比较整齐。

Step 2

With basic color on below, now you can paint on more details about lighting and shading, just for the tips, don't draw details at first, put the most details at last, so the flow will become smooth and nicer.
底色涂好了过后， 现在你可以把阴影和光底慢慢把细节涂上来。跟各位分享一个贴士，尽量把最细节留到最后。

Step 3

With become more and more detail please put a black paint filter to check out your shadow grading is obvious or not, so that your art work won't look like more texture of grading.
细节越来越多的时候，也千万不要忘了放一张黑色阴影来查看你的上色阴影又均匀吗。

Step 4 & Step 5

For the beach shorts flower pattern, for saving some times we need to cheat a bit, use some picture online and scale to acture size, and paint it the grading to same lighting and curving is ok already.
对沙滩裤的花纹，由于为了省时间，你可以在线上找你想要的图案，让后再把它缩小到适合的大小，再上一层涂上相对的阴影和光彩就可以了。

Finally we need to touch up on shading and color for better looking, and we are done the artwork.
最后就到润色的步骤了，把颜色调到你觉得美就可以了。也不要忘了加些细节，比如毛发或是最亮的地方。
